Userdesign it's an Lisbon based informal activity hub, driven by graffiti inspired, playful and do it yourself “attitude” in public space.

Makes use of rigorous methodologically approaches based in urban design, architecture, public participation, social sciences and art's fields of knowledge, all within a multidisciplinary working environment.

Since 2008, promotes, advises and researches in cooperation with several national and international partners/ clients as: national and local governments (Municipalities, mobility Institutions), education (Arts and Architecture Universities; communication professional courses), Urban Design, Architecture and Planning professionals.

Composed by flexible group of people, gathered for the purpose of developing specific projects, Userdesign serves as platform that formalises the necessary posture for the informal content of it's field of work (ex:graffiti).

The relaxed and permissive Lisbon, land of big opportunities around decaying buildings, with a background of and fertile imagery (lightened by a sunny weather), generate particular conditions for the development of our work.

Always alert about the risks of gentrification processes, commercial and art market disrupting approaches, Userdesign works as mediator of the parties that are willing to dialogue.
